What’s new: Facebook Integration now supports Aggregated Event Measurement

We are excited to announce the updated Facebook Conversions API integration with Apphud!

What’s new: Facebook Integration now supports Aggregated Event Measurement

This enhanced version of Facebook Ads integration now supports App Events along with Web Events (Web-to-App flow) and may be used in measurement, reporting, or optimization in a similar way as previous Facebook Ads integration and works both on iOS and Android devices.

Using Conversions API for Aggregated Event Measurement

Apphud Events sent to Facebook using Conversions API now support Aggregated Event Measurement.

Facebook's Aggregated Event Measurement protocol allows you to measure web and app events from iOS 14 and later devices, even from users who have opted out of tracking in Facebook or Instagram apps, while still respecting their privacy choices.

That means you can send all Apphud events to Facebook regardless of ATT consent and optimize your campaigns on them with nearly real-time reporting. Just like before.

To get started with the integration, you will need:

*Although passing attribution data is not required, it may improve event measurement quality.

You can also use Conversions API to send Web events (Web-to-App flow).

About Web-to-App use cases you can read in our blog post.

Stay tuned for more updates and enhancements from Apphud!
