What’s new: Placements, LTV Predictions, SDK Updates, New integrations, and more.

A new year and new Apphud product updates. Welcome long-awaited features and useful improvements!

What’s new: Placements, LTV Predictions, SDK Updates, New integrations, and more.

Placements

To make working with paywalls easier and more convenient, we are pleased to introduce Placements!

This feature refers to specific points in the user journey, such as onboarding, settings, and other key stages, where internal paywalls should be displayed. These placements allow app developers to position their paywalls in different sections of the app to effectively engage different groups of users.

Organize paywalls inside the application and see detailed analytics for each configured placement.

Now you can also use paywalls in conjunction with placements for A/B testing!

LTV Predictions

We’ve released the Beta of LTV predictions feature to provide you with valuable insights into future revenue streams for different customer cohorts. Based on historical data, these predictions are available for intervals of 30, 90, 180, and 365 days.

SDK Updates

We have made significant updates to our SDKs, including placement support, refactors, and other improvements.

Introducing the new iOS SDK version 3.2.5 and Android SDK version 2.3.0

We advise carefully reviewing all the improvements as there are some breaking changes to take note of before updating.

Other Updates

This is just a reminder to make sure you don't forget about our last-year updates, which are designed to make in-app purchases even easier.

Google Billing V5

Apphud SDK v2.0.0 and above supports Google Billing v5 as well as the modern Google Play Subscriptions Structure. Particularly:

  • Multiple base plans per subscription
  • Multiple offers per base plan
  • Multiple phases per offer

App Store Server API (StoreKit 2) and Apple Server Notifications V2

The new App Store Server API allows for more precise requests regarding user transactions and subscriptions, replacing the older endpoint. With the new version of StoreKit 2, Apple has introduced its App Store Server Notifications V2. This includes the addition of new events, the removal of some existing events, and changes to keys, values, and formats.

Singular Integration

Currently, Apphud supports forwarding events to Singular.

Singular is a marketing platform that allows you to get a complete view of ROI with next-gen attribution, full-funnel marketing data, and best-in-class fraud prevention.

Voluum Integration

Apphud now supports forwarding events to Voluum for iOS apps.

Voluum is a cloud-based ad tracker that integrates with multiple ad platforms and connects all the elements of your campaigns. It collects detailed data about your visitors & conversions and helps you discover the most profitable combinations of traffic, ads, landing pages, and offers.

Conclusion

In summary, the latest product update brings many exciting new features and enhancements to complement your existing workflows. These improvements allow you to gain new perspectives on your subscription revenue data. We sincerely hope that you will take advantage of these new features to increase your app revenue with Apphud.
