This latest release includes the powerful new Renewals Performance Report, the introduction of Real-time User Properties for Personalized Paywalls, and the iOS SDK update. These tools provide you with the data and flexibility needed to optimize processes and boost your business performance.

Renewals Performance Report

It’s a powerful new tool designed to provide an in-depth analysis of your subscription renewals. This report offers key insights into:

  • On-time renewals: Track how effectively your subscriptions are being renewed within a specific date range.
  • Billing management: Understand how billing issues are being handled and resolved.
  • Recovery success: Evaluate the effectiveness of strategies in place to recover subscriptions when challenges arise.

This comprehensive analysis gives you the data you need to optimize your subscription renewal process and enhance your business performance.

Real-time User Properties for Personalized Paywalls

Leverage real-time user properties to strategically personalize the paywall experience during onboarding. Starting with Apphud iOS SDK 3.5.0, you can now segment paywalls within placements based on dynamic user attributes. By utilizing key properties such as age, location, and media source, you can tailor paywalls to match each user’s profile, delivering a more targeted and effective experience.

For example, you can display Paywall1 to users in AgeRange1 and/or from CountryTier1, MediaSource1, etc while showing Paywall2 to users in AgeRange2 and/or from CountryTier2, MediaSource2.

To implement this:

  • Create custom audiences based on the relevant user properties.
  • Set up your paywall placements according to your specific audience segmentation.
  • Make some updates to your app’s code. For detailed instructions, please refer to the documentation: Apphud Placements - Audiences Based on User Properties.

This approach ensures a more personalized experience, increasing conversion potential during onboarding.

A/B Testing Enhancements - Cohort Proceeds

We’ve added a Cohort Proceeds tab to the Experiment Analytics dashboard. This metric gives you a clearer view of the estimated revenue after deducting taxes, store commissions, and refunded transactions.

What’s unique about Cohort Proceeds:

  • It focuses solely on revenue generated by users within the A/B test, excluding proceeds from non-tested paywalls.
  • As a cohort metric, it tracks the total revenue from users assigned to a specific experiment variation during the selected period.

This enhancement provides deeper insights into the financial performance of your A/B tests, so you can more accurately measure the financial impact of your experiments.
